The stay at Candlewood Suites in Fort Stockton was a pleasant surprise. The room felt updated and had a comfortable mattress, making it easy to relax. I appreciated the clean and fresh smell of the room. The kitchen setup was a bonus, with a dishwasher, sink, and refrigerator, perfect for our family needs. The staff provided exceptional service. They even offered assistance when we had a car accident, showing remarkable compassion during a tough time. Having complementary laundry facilities was a huge plus since I could easily wash clothes while traveling. The pet-friendly policy was very reasonable with a fee of $35, and there was a grassy area for my dog. Though the hotel didn’t serve breakfast, they did provide complimentary coffee and oatmeal, which was nice. The only downside was the limited breakfast options and the nearby dining choices, which were obviously not gourmet. However, a McDonald's is within walking distance, which worked out for us. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations and made our trip to Big Bend much more enjoyable.

An excellent experience at this well-maintained hotel. Room cleanliness and the fresh scent made it feel like a high-end stay, complemented by a comfortable mattress. The complimentary laundry facilities were a standout feature, along with reasonably priced food options available for purchase. Although breakfast is limited, the presence of oatmeal and coffee is a nice touch. The pet fee is quite fair too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Candlewood Suites Fort Stockton, An Ihg Hotel. The welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained, clean facilities made me feel at home. The large bathroom with excellent water pressure was especially appreciated after a long day.
Consider adding more accessible USB outlets in rooms.

Family with children must stay here
They got this pet area for dogs and the pups were welcomed with open arms it’s really nice and relaxing. Plus the staff helped me fix a room issue quick without hassle.
It was kind of pricey but in the end still acceptable.

Convenient and comfortable for road trips
I had a very pleasant stay with a well-equipped kitchenette that made meal prep so much easier. The staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times, which made planning our next outings a little challenging.

Had a great time with friends here! The kitchenette in our room made meal prep easy, and the comfy atmosphere was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area.
